The Lancashire Colleges Consortium has put together a list of the bridging resources being put together by Further Education Colleges for Year 11 students. You can download it here. This document does not include information from Sixth Forms or Training Providers. Please continue to check your emails as information should be sent directly to you if you have applied.

Burnley College – information updated 7 July 2020

If you have applied to Burnley College, you should have received an invitation to join one of their subject-specific Facebook groups. On these pages, you will be able to communication with other applicants and tutors and receive updates and bridging work. You will be able to find out more about the subjects you have chosen and prepare for starting College in September. You will receive further information and resources as the summer months progress. You can find subject-specific transition resources and tasks here.

CRGS Sixth Form – information updated 14 July 2020.

CRGS have sent this letter to their applications. Subject transition packs are now live on their website here. They can be contact by email or, between 1-4pm each day, via webchat on their website.

Enrolment will be via the Admissions+ system. You should have received your log-in details.

Myerscough College – information updated 14 July 2020.

Myerscough College can be contacted via the ‘Live Chat’ facility on their website. This can be used for course, application, finance, transport, accommodation and all other enquiries. They are still accepting applications online. They have produced a video tour of their Witton Park Campus. The MyFuture page has resources for Year 11 applicants.

Enrolment will be completed online as much as possible. If you cannot access the ‘My Student Portal’ to do so, contact Myerscough College directly.

St. Christopher’s Sixth Form – information updated 14 July 2020.

You should have received A Level bridging work to complete before September. Virtual resources and activities are available on their website. Enrolment will be in person, by appointment. This time will be sent to you via letter or email. If you would prefer to enrol by phone, complete the form on the sixth form website.

Training 2000 – information updated 14 July 2020.

Training 2000 have released a ‘Here to Help’ Guide to assist those who have applied for their apprenticeships. It includes information about making applications, writing a CV and preparing for a telephone interview. They have also produced videos on their online application process and their range of courses. Applications, interviews and enrolment are ongoing.
